As reported here on Dimers.com, the upper end of Messi’s potential annual earnings at Inter Miami is $60m, so we took this as our starting point for what he could earn during a regular season.
Next, we took the following data from games played so far:
- Goals: 11
- Assists: 3
- Minutes played: 714
And finally, we extrapolated this data across a 34 game regular season, which gave us Messi’s estimated per goal and per minutes played earnings at Inter Miami in 2023:
- Estimated earnings per goal: $1,443,850
- Estimated earnings per assist: $5,294,118
- Estimated earnings per minute played: $22,244
Of course, anything can happen during the course of a season, but on current form, Messi is making a cool $1.4m per goal at Inter Miami. Nice work if you can get it!
