March Madness: Parlay Bettor Scores $23,000 Payout From DraftKings Sportsbook

The Final Four is still a week away but one bettor is already toasting to the biggest weekend in college sports, landing a whopping March Madness parlay where he turned $24.41 into more than $23,000 by correctly identifying the four combatants at the 2023 NCAA Tournament's crescendo next week in Houston.

March Madness Gambling Win: Bettor Lands $23,000 on Final Four Parlay

It's been an incredibly wild NCAA Men's Basketball tournament so far this year, with none of the tourney's No. 1, 2 or 3 seeds making the Final Four for the first time in history.

That statistic was especially great for one bettor, who hit a monster pay day on Sunday night with a four-leg parlay that had each of UConn, Florida Atlantic, San Diego State and Miami Florida to reach the Final Four, which will be held next week at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

The bet, which was placed at the conclusion of the second round with DraftKings Sportsbook by a bettor named Zachary Taylor, was at odds of +95109, turning the relatively small $24.41 outlay into $23,240.45.

As always, the bet didn't hit without some drama. The San Diego State Aztecs, who went into their Elite Eight matchup with Creighton as +128 moneyline underdogs, captured their win with a final second free-throw made by Darrion Trammel.

Then, in the final game of Sunday night's action, Miami Florida had to overcome a 13-point deficit in the second half of their game against Texas to book their trip to H-Town, overpowering the Longhorns late to win 88-81.

In a way, it's been a fairytale run for all of the remaining teams in this year's tournament who were all big odds to get this far at the beginning of March. Florida Atlantic are the standout Cinderella, with odds as high as +250000 to win the national championship at the beginning of the season (yes, you read that correctly).
