💪 Best Spread
Texas -8.5. Friday was a day for the double-digit seeds, and anyone that plays Saturday was watching and better come correct. That includes Iowa -14.5, but especially my favorite in the East, Texas. I think Shaka Smart’s crew is going to be ready for Abilene Christian and run away in this one, primed for a deep run. The exceptional free throw shooting guards make sure this doesn’t get below 10 in a desperation attempt.

☝ Best Over/Under
Over 147.5 in Iona v. Alabama. Rick Pitino probably won’t change his stripes and slow the pace against Bama, who also loves to get up and down and create clean secondary break open 3-point attempts. I think Bama probably lives somewhere in the mid-80’s here considering the pace, so Iona can still lose handsomely, and together they surpass the 147.5.
💵 Best Moneyline
Ohio +255. I’ve been on Jason Preston all year, especially in my tournament previews, and there is no stopping now. I need that juice to get excited, and I really believe Ohio has a great chance to pull this off with the combination of an NBA guard and a few versatile bigs that can get going from deep. Virginia is going to seduce some casual betters that remember the defending champs of a couple years ago, probably keeping this more distant than it should be.
🔥 Best Player Prop
Missouri’s Dru Smith over 13.5 points against Oklahoma. Smith is the focal point of the Tigers backcourt in crunch time, and as a pick em game, I expect this one to be close and in their best scoring guards hands throughout. Smith is also a senior, playing in possibly his last game.
