Betting Preview for the 2022 Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

The 2022 Formula 1 season comes to an end this weekend with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, run at Yas Marina Circuit on the UAE’s Persian Gulf coastline. At 3.45 miles, with several speedy turns, and two generous straights, Yas Marina is perfectly conducive to high-speed overtakes,
and, in general, thrilling racing. This, of course, is among the chief reasons Abu Dhabi has hosted Formula 1’s finale every year since 2014, several of which outings, most notably the legendary, Drivers’ Championship-deciding duel between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton in 2021, have produced some of the best Formula 1 racing in history.
Our Dimers.com F1 expert takes a look at the best bets for the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend.

What’s at stake?
Quite a few meaningful battles will be decided Sunday, as teams and drivers jockey for the highest possible positions in the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships. All eyes, however, will be fixed on Red Bull’s Sergio Perez and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, who enter the weekend tied for second place in the Drivers’ standings.
Perez vs. Leclerc already would have been the most interesting battle in Abu Dhabi, but has taken on a whole new significance following Max Verstappen’s stunning, controversial refusal to allow Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez to finish ahead of him last week, despite Perez having allowed Verstappen to pass him in the Brazilian Grand Prix’s closing laps specifically due to an assurance Verstappen, who has already won the 2022 Drivers’ Championship, would give the place back. As a result, Perez arrives in Abu Dhabi tied with Charles Leclerc, at 290 points apiece, as opposed to in sole possession of second place.
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Best Bets
including a season-best sixth place finish at the Japanese Grand Prix. Count on Vettel to go out with a bang at Yas Marina Circuit, ending his career with one last points finish.
