At first glance, Iowa might look like a team that practices on peach baskets, but once you get over the initial “how the hell did you put together an all-white basketball team in 2021?” shock and you’ll see a team that’s molded for offensive execution and points. And a very good one.

🏀 CBB News and Schedule

Iowa is KenPom’s no. 1 team in the country in terms of offensive execution, and flexes those muscles at home on the friendly rims of Carver Hawkeye Arena. Tonight, they host the offensively streaky Indiana Hoosiers, and are favored by -10. And oh baby, just on a pure can one team score enough to keep close to the other, you gotta like that number.

Archie Miller’s Hoosiers haven’t played for a week, since they lost by 12 to rival Purdue. I’m sure practices were heated, but that won’t travel to Iowa City, and a superior team. Indiana’s biggest strength is inside with Trayce Jackson-Davis, and even there, they’re mismatched against Player of the Year favorite Luka Garza, who has a propensity for putting opposing bigs in foul trouble.

💰 Pick: Iowa -10

For added fun, take Joe Weiskamp to score more than 14 points in the contest. Weiskamp is an elite level wing when he’s hitting from outside, where he’s been on a heater recently, 5-of-6 in his last couple contests.
