College Basketball Best Bets for Saturday, January 28

Illinois Fighting Illini vs. Wisconsin Badgers - 3:00PM ET

These two teams are trending in opposite directions. Illinois has won five of their last six games since Skyy Clark left the team. Wisconsin on the other hand has lost five of their last six. In the last month, according to Torvik, Illinois is playing like the 22nd best team in the country and Wisconsin is all the way down at 129th. The Kohl Center is normally a very difficult place to play, but the Badgers have already lost to Michigan State and Wake Forest at home. We like the more talented team to pull away.

BET: Illinois -1 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Baylor Bears vs. Arkansas Razorbacks - 4:00PM ET

Speaking of Torvik, over their last five games, Baylor is playing like the 6th best team in the country. The Bears have won five straight games and they have also been completely dominant at home. Every home win this season, the Bears have won by six points or more. Arkansas has really struggled as of late, losing five of their last eight games over an extended stretch going back to last month. Nick Smith's "injury" is really hanging over this team, and we expect Baylor's veteran backcourt to take advantage.

BET: Baylor -4 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Kansas Jayhawks vs. Kentucky Wildcats - 8:00PM ET

Two weeks ago, we all would have laughed at the idea of this game being a close spread. Kansas would have likely been 7-8 point favorites, but now both teams have gone in opposite directions. Kentucky was forced into playing a new lineup with point guard Sahvir Wheeler out, and the Wildcats capitalized winning four straight games. Bill Self on the other hand, has lost three straight games for only the fourth time in his tenure. He has never lost four straight games at Kansas - and more importantly, this Kansas team is better at four of five positions than Kentucky, and as desperate as can be for a win.

BET: Kansas +1 (-110) at DraftKings Sportsbook
