Buffalo Bills 2022 Win Total Prediction, Computer Picks and Super Bowl Odds

Buffalo Bills 2022 Win Total Prediction, Computer Picks and Super Bowl Odds

The 2022 NFL season is firmly on the horizon and over the coming weeks the Dimers crew will break down the chances of each and every team, all vying for Super Bowl 57 glory in Glendale, Arizona come February.

Let's take a look at the key factors to consider when betting on the Buffalo Bills in 2022.

The Bills have been on a steady ascent and came up short against the Kansas City Chiefs in one of the wildest finishes in playoff history last year. This season, they're not just looking to move past the AFC Divisional Playoff round, but they're the favorites to win it all.

Can they live up to the expectations?

Buffalo Bills Win Total Prediction, Computer Picks & Super Bowl Odds

  • 2021 Record: 11-6, 1st in AFC East, eliminated by the Chiefs in Divisional Round
  • 2021 ATS: 10-7-2
  • Key off-season losses: Emmanuel Sanders WR, Levi Wallace CB, Mario Addison DE and Cole Beasley WR
  • Key off-season additions: Kaiir Elam CB, Jamison Crowder WR, James Cook RB and Von Miller LB

Buffalo Bills 2022 Win Total - 11.5

The Bills they deserve to be the favorites to win it all by dominating who is on their schedule no matter how good or bad the teams are. Buffalo should cruise against the AFC East schedule once again, with Josh Allen proving that he just might be the best quarterback in the NFL. The Bills should also have one of the best defenses in the league this year.

Sean McDermott has proven to be one of the best coaches in the NFL. The out-of-division schedule for the Bills might be absolutely brutal, but McDermott will have his squad ready to go. The AFC as a whole is a complete gauntlet, but this team has what it takes to rise above it.

PICK: Over 11.5 wins (-135)

DimersBOT: In our model's 10,000 simulations of the upcoming NFL season, the Bills averaged 11.49 wins per year. With that said, you can go either way on this one. But our model does suggest that Buffalo is the best team in football

Buffalo Bills X-Factor - Gabriel Davis, WR

With Emmanuel Sanders and Cole Beasley no longer on the roster, Davis now becomes the second wide receiver behind Stefon Diggs. Davis caught 10 passes for 201 yards receiving and four touchdowns in the AFC Divisional Round game against Chiefs.

Davis also caught 35 passes for 549 yards receiving and six touchdowns last season. He is a nice weapon on the outside — and can also be used as a big slot — and it feels like he might be in for a breakout season. Davis' presence just might give Allen an elite one-two punch at wideout for the first time in his short career.

Buffalo Bills Super Bowl 57 Chances

The Bills are worth a Super Bowl bet because they are probably the best team in the league, on paper — and according to our data scientists. They are clearly all in this season after general manager Brandon Beane signed Von Miller to a six-year, $120-million deal in the offseason.

Allen is the kind of quarterback a team needs in order to win a Super Bowl. Buffalo lost in the AFC Divisional Round last season, but that was because of the team's defense — or the exceptional play of Patrick Mahomes. The defensive unit should be a bit better this year, and that has the potential to make a huge difference. Miller's ability to get after the passer will be key. An argument can be made that this team was a play or two away from winning it all last year, and Miller getting to Mahomes might have been that play.

DimersBOT: No team in the league has a better chance of winning the Super Bowl than Buffalo, according to our projections. The only thing that can go wrong for this group is an injury to Allen, but the Bills have a reliable backup in Case Keenum. As long as Allen doesn't miss playoff games, you'll be happy to be holding a Bills ticket late in the year.
