The second week of the golf postseason is here, with the BMW Championship teeing off later today. The field is down to 70 of the world’s best players and with just 30 places available for next week’s Tour Championship, we’re set for an incredible weekend of golf.

Next week’s Tour Championship will see the 30 players with the most FedEx Cup points from across the season playing off for a ridiculous $15 million. With the format of next week giving the top ranked seeds a stroke advantage, the shuffling for positions this week is vital.

Bet any American player to win BMW Championship at a huge -145 (boosted from -175) with PointsBet!

🔥 Best Bet:

Dustin Johnson (+750)

Bet $100, win $750

DJ absolutely destroyed the field in last week’s Northern Trust, finishing Sunday a ridiculous 11 strokes ahead of second place on (-30). The win not only moved him into first in the world rankings, but also the FedEx Cup standings, which is what they’re all fighting for right now.

Johnson is currently ahead of Justin Thomas in the rankings by the barest of margins, and what better way to hold down his FedEx cup spot, than by winning again this week!

He’s known to get on hot streaks that can last for weeks, and with so much on the line over the next fortnight, we’ve got him as the best chance of coming out on top again this week.

💰 Value Pick:

Rory McIlroy (+1600)

Bet $100, win $1600

The four-time major winner hasn’t quite looked himself since the restart, but now that we’re right in the thick of the FedEx Cup, it’s time for Rory to step up and grab a win. McIlroy is the only other golfer apart from Tiger to have won the FedEx Cup on multiple occasions, including just last year, which was the first time the current format was used.

Rarely do we get to get to bet the Northern Irishman at such long odds, and even if he plays near his best this week, we won’t get +1600 for him again for a long time.

🔮  Outsider:

Adam Scott (+4000)

Bet $100, win $4000

Adam Scott was one of the last golfers to return to the Tour after the restart, choosing to spend more time back home in Australia, prepping himself for this run of majors and postseason golf. Scott currently sits at 38th in the standings, meaning he needs to move up 8 places this weekend to secure his spot in next week’s final.

The Aussie has played the least amount of tournaments of anyone in the top 50, showing just how impressive he has been when he has played. The +4000 odds are way too long for a guy with big tournament pedigree and a real hunger to qualify for the Tour Championship.
