Yankees @ Indians

This is not a 7-inning game but the total is set remarkably low as the Indians and Yankees renew hostilities in Cleveland. 8 runs were scored in their game yesterday to go with 9 in Thursday's series opener, so we're riding the tail of those games a little in our pick here.

The reason for the low total is the form of both starting pitchers in New York's Gerrit Cole and Cleveland's Shane Bieber who sport a 1.82 and 2.45 ERA respectively to start the season. What is on our side, however, is the amount of hits they're both giving up per nine innings (6.20 and 5.22). While that stat hasn't translated to runs yet, at a total of 6.5 we are happy to take the risk that the offenses can finally start converting against these pitchers.

Padres @ Dodgers

The Padres appear to have found their groove against the Dodgers with wins in LA on both Thursday and Friday night. Despite the projected starting pitchers having good starts to the year, our projection data has this one going over the mark set by the 'books.

Colorado started their weekend series with the Phillies by getting the win last night and our data likes that form to carry over to Saturday with a nice 4.5% edge detected against the sportsbook's odds.
