Cleveland came out of San Diego with a 2-game sweep over the last two nights and they're picking up momentum on their way to a 4-game lead atop of the AL Central. They travel north this afternoon to take on the Mariners - a team that is also likely to see postseason baseball this year and this series looks to be one of the most intriguing of the weekend. The Guards are favored by the 'books to continue their winning ways on the road, backed by the impressive form of starting ace Triston McKenzie (9-9, 3.11 ERA). McKenzie has been unconscious as of late with a 1.66 ERA over his last three starts. It's hard to look past them today.

White Sox vs. Orioles, 7:05PM ET

These two teams finish off their midweek series tonight with a rubber match after splitting the first two games and we are expecting runs. Both starting pitchers aren't in great form with Jordan Lyles (9-9, 4.61 ERA) up against Lance Lynn (3-5, 5.30 ERA). Lynn in particular has found life tough on the road in 2022 with a 6.39 ERA and a 0-3 record. The Orioles are capable of scoring, averaging a touch under 5 runs per game over their last 10 outings. This total could run up early as the Orioles look to attack.

Twins vs. Astros, 8:10PM ET

The Twins are enduring a horror stretch with 5 consecutive losses as they lose touch with the Guardians in the AL Central. They get another extremely tough matchup tonight against the Astros who are humming along with the second best record in the MLB. Starting on the bump for Minnesota will be Chris Archer (2-6, 4.02 ERA), which is bad news if you're a Twins fan because they haven't won the last 8 games in which Archer has started. This is perfectly set up for Astros domination.
