Yesterday wasn't our best day, going 1-2, but we won't let that deter us from trying to make it a clean sweep today with four plays.
🎾 Taylor Fritz vs Reilly Opelka - Over 4.5 sets (+180)
I’m finding it difficult to split these two big-serving Americans. The two of them are best friends and have come up against each other a number of times coming through the ranks and should know each other's games inside out. I’m expecting plenty of aces and can see this one going down the wire in the fifth.
🎾 Stan Wawrinka to beat Marton Fucsovic 3-1 (+290)
Stan Wawrinka’s record at the Aus Open speaks for itself and I expect him to get the job done over Marton Fucsovic. However, Fucsovic has taken it up to the Swiss veteran the couple of occasions they have met, forcing a number of sets to tie breaks and winning a set of his own on two of the last three occasions. If the -250 on offer for Wawrinka ML to win isn’t enticing enough, take him to win 3 sets to 1 at a good price.
🎾 Nick Kyrgios to beat Ugo Humbert (-139)
The sportsbooks view this match as an even contest, but I like Australian Nick Kyrgios to progress to the third round. Kyrgios coasted past Ferreira Silva in his opening fixture and showed his usual flare. He seems to be striking the ball extremely well and he is a good price to win in the H2H market. Humbert dropped a set to World No.108 Yasutaka Uchiyama and if his Japanese opponent had've converted more of his break opportunities he could have taken the match even deeper. I like Kyrgios in this one.
🎾 Bernarda Pera to beat Zarina Diyas 2-0 (+130)
Bernarda Pera started her campaign in style with a comfortable straight-sets victory over Angelique Kerber. She now faces Zarina Diyas, who she beat in straight sets at the US Open late last year in their only encounter. If Pera holds her first-round form I think she is tasty odds to win 2-0.
🎾 Day 3 Parlay
Fritz v Opelka both win a set, Wawrinka to win, Kyrgios to win, Pera 2-0 = +737
