After the first two games in Houston, we knew that the Phillies could at least match up with the raging World Series favorites, but I don't think anyone was expecting the way in which the NL Champions destroyed their American League counterparts last night. Philadelphia were electric from the very first inning, showing that they possess enough depth and power in both their hitting lineup and pitching stocks.

In Game 4, the Astros will be sending out Christian Javier to try and stop the bleeding - and he's a good candidate to do just that, giving up less than 1 run per start across his last 10 outings while his pitching opponent in Aaron Nola for the Phils, Aaron Nola, will be trying to suppress the nightmares from his Game 1 start against Houston in which he allowed 5 runs in 4.1 innings which was the second straight bad game after he gave up 6 runs to the Padres in the NLCS. 

We know what the Phillies are capable of - particularly with the whole city of Philadelphia behind their backs and willing them across the line. The question now must be asked of this Astros batting lineup who were unable to fire off a shot last night. Can they take advantage of Nola again, or are they overwhelmed by the situation? It feels weird to say that about such a postseason-hardened team like the Astros, but that's exactly how they looked last night. 

Overall we should see a better performance from Nola at home and we know that Javier is going to lock things down on his end. This one could be tense with the under looking like the best play.
