The Marlins and Mets go head-to-head on Friday in their first matchup of a three-game series.

Miami will be looking to keep their hot form rolling, having won four straight against the Orioles. New York haven't been as strong, but they did win their last outing, beating the Nats 3-1.

Dimers' Suggested Plays

Lock: Over 9 total runs
Moneyline: Marlins (+154)
Run Line: Marlins +1.5

Lock

The total line for this game is relatively and therefore our model is expecting the over. The Marlins won their last game 8-7 against the Orioles, meanwhile, the Mets have the talent to pile on the runs.

Moneyline

They come in as underdogs, however, our model has identified Miami as the value Moneylines play. They have been playing brilliantly to start the season and should be right in this one.

Run Line

Considering they are the value Moneyline bet, it should be no surprise that we are taking Marlins at the Run Line. Expect them to cover in this one.

Dimers' take-out

This should be an exciting game, and expect it to be high-scoring. Our model fancies the Marlins and the way they have been playing, so even if they don't win as underdogs, at least expect them to cover the Run Line.
