Predictions and bets for Magic Vs 76ers

August 7, 2020 12:31 PM

Philadelphia and Orlando are back in action tonight as the Sixers try and do it without Ben Simmons.

Simmons suffered his second potential season-ending injury this week, following a back ailment that originally ruled him out for the Sixers before the league-wide shut down in March. This time, a dislocated knee will keep the former number 1 pick off the court for the foreseeable future. The Sixers will need to adjust fast in order to salvage yet another season that promised so much but delivered little.

Dimers' Suggested Plays

Lock: Magic +5.0 (-105*)

Moneyline: 76ers  (-200*)

Total points: Under 222.5 (-105*)

Orlando have split their first four games evenly but have lost their last two. We see Orlando keeping this close as the Sixers try and figure out what to do with a Ben Simmons-sized hole in their line-up.

Despite the expected line-up reshuffle, we’re still expecting the Philadelphia, who are currently 6th in the East, to win this one. Look for Joel Embiid to have a monster game as he takes on the scoring burden.

Total points

Both sides are coming off low scoring matches last time out and we see this continuing in this one as Philly look to shut down Orlando’s scorers.

Dimers' take-out

We do see the 76ers taking this one, but only just. We recommend boosting your tickets by putting Orlando +5 with the Under which should see you receive a nice pay out.
