NFL Week 3 Bad Beats
1. Steelers +10.5 for $7000
Little did we know that Thursday night's Week 3 opener between the Steelers and Browns would set a trend for disappointing Primetime games this weekend, but it also was the scene of the first bad beat for the week.
The Steelers, down 6 with only seconds remaining the game and penned back in their own 10, tried everything they could to cause some chaos with a lateral pass play with the final forward thrust of the match in the hope that they could pull off the miracle. The only problem is that the Steelers aren't very good and they turned over the ball in pretty comical fashion, leading to a touchdown by the Browns Defense as time expired, taking the final margin to 12 and screwing thousands of bettors out of the Steelers +10.5 teaser, not to mention the Pat McAfee Odds Boost from FanDuel Sportsbook.
But for one bettor who needed Pittsburgh to just hold it together on the final play for his $50 Same Game Parlay to cashout for close to $7000, he'll be feeling the pain more than most this week.
ICYMI, last night's final play of the Browns/Steelers game was costly with the Browns getting a touchdown on a forced turnover, losing this bettor almost $7,000 🤮 pic.twitter.com/WDa81P3xEE

2. Aaron Jones Anytime Touchdown for $2000
Touchdowns were hard to come back on Sunday afternoon when two of the greatest to ever to it in Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers did battle in Tampa Bay. While it was Rodgers getting the spoils this time, only three touchdowns in total were scored.Hurting pic.twitter.com/neAntYBGJB

3. Daniel Jones Over 202.5 Passing Yards for $5600
In the lead up for Monday night's Primetime game between the Giants and Cowboys, much was made of Daniel Jones' record in the coveted night time slot with a dire 0-8 record. That didn't stop bettors from piling into the New York quarterback, however, but it did cost almost everyone with Jones falling just short of his passing yards line which varied anywhere from 196.5 to 202.5. Jones' decision to run the ball (he had 9 carries for 79 rushing yards) ended up being the difference with the final pass yards tally stuck on 196, costing this bettor just over $5600 from a $150 Same Game Parlay.
