2021 NFL Season: The Top 5 Bad Beats of Monday Night Football, September 13, 2021Sep 15, 2021 at 5:33AM
Football betting is back and with that came bad beats, with no game worse for this than Monday Night Football between the Ravens and Raiders.
We put the call out to our Twitter followers for their same game parlays that fell just short, and oh boy, did we get some doozies!
5. Mark Andrews Receiving Yards
First up we've got the inconsistent Mark Andrews who many took in their parlays, to go Over his receiving yards line. But it was Sammy Watkins and Marquise Brown that dominated the Ravens' receptions, leaving bettors short across the country.
4. Kenyan Drake Anytime TD
This bettor fell just short of hitting a beautiful six-leg parlay, with Kenyan Drake failing to get in the endzone.
3. Lamar Jackson Anytime TD
Although there's no standout time Lamar could've crossed the line, he did have 12 carries for 86 yards. With the run of injuries the Ravens have had to running backs, many had Lamar pinned for those yards AND a tuddy. But the touchdown was a no go from the 2019 MVP.
2. Bryan Edwards Anytime TD
The Raiders thought they'd won the game with this play, with the crowd and players celebrating the dub as soon as Edwards planted the ball down. But with his knee hitting the ground first, they had to wait a little longer before they could celebrate for real.

1. Willie Snead Anytime TD
Some would argue that Bryan Edwards falling two yards short of a TD that would've won the game should be the bad beat of the night, but after our friend, Mike Violi, put together this video (and a couple of our staff had a similar bet) we had to make this number one!
