Today's action sees us going for three picks. Take them individually or parlay them together for a juicy payout!
🎾 Daniil Medvedev to beat Andrey Rublev 3-0 (+210)
The promising Russian duo of Medvedev & Rublev meet for a place in the Aus Open semi-final. The pair have met four times on the pro tour and it’s been all one-way traffic with Medvedev winning all four occasions in straight sets. Rublev has been impressive during this tournament, but Medvedev has the class edge over him at this point of their careers and we’re happy to back him in to win comfortably.
🇺🇸 Jennifer Brady to beat Jessica Pegula 2-0 (+105)
Jennifer Brady looks like a woman on a mission at the moment. She has been unstoppable this year at Melbourne Park winning all her opening four rounds in straight sets and only dropping two service games. She now faces fellow American Jessica Pegula for a spot in the final four, who interestingly beat Brady in their only match last year. However, after making the semis at the US Open in 2020, Brady knows what it takes to win matches in the second week of a major and we think she’s a good play to win in straight sets.
🎾 Ash Barty to beat Karolina Muchova 2-1 (+290)
World No.1 Ash Barty’s return to the court after a long break has gone as smooth as possible in the opening four rounds at the Australian Open, but this will be a tough assignment for the home town hero. Karolina Muchova has been in ominous form knocking out Elise Mertens (18th seed) and Karolina Pliskova (6th seed) in her previous two matches and we think she’ll give Barty a run for her money. Barty has been impressive, but little lapses have opened up opportunities to break her serve on a number of occasions. We’re still backing Barty to win, but we also fancy Muchova to take a set.
