The Rockies continue their incredible start to the season and will once again look to beat over the Giants.
They have played two low-scoring games so far in the series, and it appears as though that trend is set to continue.
Lock: Under 11.5 total runs
Moneyline: Giants (+120)
Run Line: Giants +1.5
(Total Line, Moneyline and Run Line correct at time of publishing)
Our model once again has this game going under the total run mark, which at the time of publishing was set at 11.5. The under has won in both games of the series so far, with just seven runs scored in the most recent fixture. There is a 52% probability of their being less than 11.5 runs and it looks to be a smart bet.
Despite their struggles, the value in this game is with the Giants. They have lost both games in the series, however, have been relatively competitive and it would not be surprising to seem them take out this one.
It's no surprise that our model has identified the Giants as the top Run Line pick considering they were also the smart Moneyline bet. They struggled in the second game of the series, however, in the opener took it right up to the Rockies. A replica of that performance would see them cover.
Although the Rockies have been in fantastic form, keep your eye on the Giants in this one, who look a great chance of causing an upset. It should be a tight, low-scoring game and could very well come down to the final few innings.
